This is a really good article. I hope you're planning on doing the other counties in England. I'd like to see more of the Mysterious England articles, too. I know it takes a lot of time to research all of these places and write the stories but they're very interesting and a lot of people enjoy reading them.

Has anyone heard of any werewolf sightings in Maine since these sightings were reported?

This was posted way back in 2013 but I didn't see it. I find old traditions like this interesting.

Tomorrow is the anniversary of George Washington's death. Wonder if any of Mount Vernon's ghosts will make themselves known?

Did anything ever come of these reports? The investigator said he thought they had a real encounter.

This article is nearly 10 years old, but I don't recall reading it before. It kind of reminds me of the Reed incident in Massachusetts.

Have there been updates on this incident, or has it just faded away like a lot of unexplained sightings?

Jersey Devil sightings often happen around Halloween, so if anyone comes across any, please post them.

Although most law enforcement officers dismiss what Berkowitz says about murders like this one, he seems to have a lot of knowledge about crimes that no one can figure out how he learned. It's very strange that these people were killed after he said his cult members were going to enter an apartment and commit a ritual murder.

I don't believe I've ever heard of anyone secretly recording grand jury proceedings before. I thought the title, "Something Rotten in Bardstown" was just a play on words but this place really is rotten. There's a lot of corruption in Kentucky, including in the government and law enforcement, but Bardstown is so corrupt that it stands out in a state where corruption is sort of a way of life.

This is the 56th anniversary of the Shag Harbour Incident. I'd like to go to the annual festival some day.

These people are all white trash but even if Houck killed her, it probably wasn't intentional, which would make it involuntary manslaughter and improper disposal of a body, or some nonsense like that. I think the FBI swooped in after the body that wasn't that of Crystal Rogers was found, and Houck and the other man were arrested on flimsy evidence. It's kind of strange that you say that because I know people in Bardstown and they're all saying basically the same thing. They think if she was killed by Brooks Houck that it was accidental. Like the original article in this thread says, the people of Bardstown are divided on what happened. From what I hear, the folks there are all very gossipy and quarrelsome and they just can't seem to get along. The people I know say there's always something going on that has everyone arguing and feuding. It really is a rotten place.

The Sasquatch Festival in Whitehall, NY is this coming weekend. Some friends and I went in 2021 and it was interesting. We rented a cabin on Lake Georgia at the end of August where there have been a lot of Bigfoot sightings. We didn't see Bigfoot but we had a good time. Like other creatures, I'm sure Bigfoot tries to stay out of sight when there are a lot of vacationers and campers around. Most sightings are accidental.

I don't know how I missed this article. I don't think I've ever heard of the Campeche Devil Dogs in Galveston, or if I did, I forgot. I'm sure I probably read this article when it was first posted, but for some reason I've always confused the Campeche Devil Dogs with the Texas cryptids called Blue Dogs. I've heard that the Blue Dog has been mistaken for the chupacabra.
