It's easier to believe accounts of huge man beasts in a place like Maine, where there are extensive forests, than in populated areas where there aren't any place for creatures that size to hide.

I think the most haunted place in West Virginia may be the Lowe Hotel in Point Pleasant.

I think New Mexico is probably the St. James Inn in Cimarron.
We already have New York and North Carolina, so the next is North Dakota.

Since we already have Florida, the King House in Mayport, and Georgia, Heritage Hall in Madison, I suppose we’ll move on to Hawaii, a state I know almost nothing about, so someone else will have to decide which location is the most haunted. I've heard that the Pacific Aviation Museum at Pearl Harbor is haunted by the ghosts of men who are still attached to the planes they flew. I think Ghost Hunters did a show about the museum.

I live in Illinois and I'm trying to come up with the one place that seems to be more haunted than any of the others but there are so many. Instead of waiting for people to name the most haunted place in the state they live in, why don't we go state by state and discuss which place is the most haunted and then decide? People have said that the Drish House is the most haunted in Alabama, so the 2nd state would be Alaska. I don't know enough about Alaska to make a suggestion for the most haunted location, but I think the most haunted place in Kentucky may be The Old Talbott Tavern in Bardstown.

I know people who live in that area and although there have been sightings of ghostly soldiers and the phantom ship for years, most of what you find online is just nonsense posted by teenage ghost chasers. I've heard the same thing.

I never heard of this disappearance and I'd like to know more about it. It would make an interesting article. I've never heard of it either. I'm sure I read this when it was first posted but I somehow overlooked this incident.

I saw somewhere that Bobby Mackey's is going to be torn down. I heard that they're going to keep the well where they believe Pearl Bryan's head was thrown and put a glass top over it so that people can look down it.

I was just reading some old posts and came across this one. There’s a lot in the news today about UFOs (or UAPs) but there are still many sightings and events, with multiple witnesses, that have never been explained. The witnesses in this incident included pilots and other members of the RAF, and it was a solid object visible on radar. Like so many other incidents, there is still no explanation, yet we’re expected to believe there’s nothing “out there,” and there’s an Earthly explanation for everything. “Nothing” doesn’t show up on radar. There are so many things like this that make the news when they happen but then you never hear anything else about them.

Has anyone else noticed that there's hardly anything about the Bermuda Triangle on news sites anymore, even on sites that specialize in the weird and mysterious?

In a quick Google search, all I could find were rehashes of the original reports. It's frustrating when the media make a big production about something and then fail to follow up. I've been checking since it happened and I haven't found anything either.

I was stopped at a traffic signal a few days ago and looked around at all the other drivers and passengers looking at their cell phones. I couldn't help thinking that if a bird the size of a giraffe had been flying around, no one would have seen it. There's an article about someone seeing something that looked like a troll from the window of a train in England, but nobody else saw it because they were all staring at their devices. whatliesbeyond.boards.net/thread/1169/running-troll-passenger-london-train

There are a lot of old practices in Appalachia for girls to find out who they're going to marry. There are also a lot of love spells to attract the person you want. I guess it would work for men or women but it's usually women who are interested in this kind of thing.

There are all kinds of Bigfoot hunts and ghost hunts all over the country, but no one ever finds either.

Does anyone know what they ended up doing with this old insane asylum?
