Aliens Reported in Las Vegas BackyardAt 12:25 a.m. on May 1, 2023, a 911 operator in Las Vegas, Nevada, received a call from a young man reporting a “tall, skinny alien creature with greenish color” hiding behind a forklift in his family’s backyard. “I swear to God, this is not a joke. This is actually ... we’re terrified,” the caller insisted.
At one point, the caller indicated there were, in fact, two “creatures,” and the somewhat skeptical dispatcher asked, “So there’s two people, there’s two subjects in your backyard?”
“Correct,” the caller affirmed. “They’re very large. They’re like 8-foot, 9-foot, 10-foot ... I dunno, they look like aliens to us. Big eyes. They have big eyes. Like, I can’t explain it, and a big mouth. They’re shiny eyes and they’re not human. They’re 100 percent not human!”
Police were already checking into an associated incident after an officer’s bodycam captured a glowing, green light streaking across the sky at 11:50 p.m. At least 21 individuals in Nevada, eastern California, Arizona and Utah reported seeing the same object.
A witness (above) seen on the responding officer’s bodycam later confirmed his story in a YouTube video under the username Alien society51. The video includes footage from a neighbor’s doorbell camera that recorded a loud bang and filmed a “perfect” circle – purportedly created by the alien spacecraft – in his backyard.
According to the witness, he and his brother were working on a truck around midnight when they heard something fall from the sky. “I turned around and saw a big light falling from the sky and moments after, I felt a big impact and a bang … when the impact happened, it was like a shock-wave,” he recalled. “It was all blurry. Not my vision, only the backyard, and I heard thousands of footsteps around me. A couple seconds later, the footsteps were gone.” While waiting for police, he claimed to hear whispering noises and footsteps in the backyard and on the roof.
Then he saw the alien itself. “I looked at it in the eyes,” he continued, “and my body just froze like having sleep paralysis. He had a weird-looking face, big feet, and big shiny eyes and a big mouth. I can hear its loud, deep breathing and its stomach kept moving. He would just stare at me, and seconds later, I could move again.”
George Knapp, a renowned journalist who has broken several important UFO-related stories, spoke with Alien society51 and his family members. “Metro police took it seriously,” Knapp said. “The officers who responded to the 911 call interviewed the three witnesses and found them to be sober and credible. They searched the backyard, looked for physical evidence, canvassed the neighborhood for more witnesses, then returned a day later for a followup. We had multiple conversations with the family over the past four weeks and didn’t detect a hint of a hoax. But what really happened? We don't know.”
Neither the police nor other authorities know what crashed in Las Vegas that night, but there is evidence something happened.
“I know some people are not going to believe this,” the witness who released the YouTube video acknowledged, “but this is what happened to me.”

With multiple witnesses, something obviously happened, but if there were 8-foot-tall extraterrestrials in the backyard, where did they go?

Police Install Cameras at Home of UFO, Alien Encounter Las Vegas police have installed cameras on top of the Las Vegas home where family members reported an alien spacecraft and a “tall, skinny alien creature” in their backyard.
A police spokesperson said the cameras were set up because the family is “afraid for their safety.” Following their initial contact with law enforcement, family members reported hearing noises in their yard. “We offered to put cameras up to help ease their concerns of someone coming to harass or harm them,” the spokesperson told reporters.
Some, however, aren’t sure the police are being totally forthcoming. For instance, Doug Poppa, a Las Vegas-based independent investigative journalist who usually focuses on corruption, followed up on the UFO story and spoke with family members. “The mother told me they [police] came out there and put up the cameras, supposedly to protect the family from people coming to bother them about the UFO,” he said. “But I can tell you right now. Cops don’t come out and put up expensive video equipment like that – and they certainly wouldn’t for someone calling in a report about a UFO.”
It’s also interesting that shortly before the Las Vegas encounter, David Charles Grush, a decorated US Air Force veteran of Afghanistan who served in the National Reconnaissance Office Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force filed a whistleblower complaint with Congress concerning classified information related to recovered UFOs of exotic (non-human) origin, including crashed alien vehicles with dead pilots.
Although a Pentagon spokesperson told Fox News there is “no verifiable information to substantiate the claims” pertaining to either the Las Vegas incident or Grush’s explosive comments, several sources insist Grush is “very credible” and vouched for his allegations.

He's right. I'll bet it wasn't the police who decided to put up the cameras. It was probably some government agency like Homeland Security or the Dept. of Defense.

When did the police ever install video cameras just because people said they were afraid of something, particularly something like extraterrestrials? There's a lot more to this story.

Have there been updates on this incident, or has it just faded away like a lot of unexplained sightings?

Did the cameras capture anything of interest?

Did the cameras capture anything of interest? In a quick Google search, all I could find were rehashes of the original reports. It's frustrating when the media make a big production about something and then fail to follow up.

I've been checking since it happened and I haven't found anything either. I don't know if it's true or not, but I saw somewhere online that the circular imprint in the yard that was supposed to show where the spaceship landed was visible on Google Earth before the incident was reported. That doesn't prove that the story isn't true but you'd like that if it was a genuine sighting there would be more reports by MUFON and other UFO investigators.
