That's it. The murder has been on TV several times, and I said "wider-than-average streets" was making it too easy. They're either too easy or too hard.

I would prefer the lighthouse but I think there are a lot more reports of supernatural activity at the Whaley House.Although I think most reports of supernatural activity at the Stanley Hotel is a lot of hype, it's probably more haunted than the Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs.Although the Standrod Mansion looks haunted, I think the White Horse Saloon is probably the more haunted of the two.We went to Ringwood Manor on one of our Dark Shadows trips and it's very atmospheric, so I think it's probably the most haunted. If these are the two most haunted places in North Carolina, I would say that the Attmore-Oliver House is more haunted than the Isaac Taylor House.I like the Adams House, but the Bullock Hotel has more reports of supernatural activity.
I can't decide between the two locations suggested for the other states.

The Dock Street Theatre in Charleston is probably the most haunted place in South Carolina. For Virginia, I suggest the Peyton-Randolph House in Williamsburg.

I love fog and gray, rainy days, the kind of weather we always hope for on our Dark Shadows trips.

I don't suppose there have been any updates on this Valentine's Day murder from 53 years ago.

I live in Alabama and the most haunted house in the state is definitely the Drish House in Tuscaloosa.

If a place is haunted, it's going to be haunted whether it's occupied or abandoned. A lot of people, especially teenagers, mistakenly believe that just because an abandoned house or other building looks somewhat spooky that it's haunted.

Tomorrow night is the 50th anniversary of Ted Bundy's first murder. I wonder if there will be anything on Oxygen or the Crime Network (or whatever it's called now) about it.

I don't know of anyone who believes Charles Sennett shot himself, but because he deserved to be shot, no one cared.

Isn't Lancaster County where all the PowWow practitioners are?

I recently ordered the first 2 seasons of Sister Boniface, a spinoff of Father Brown. The convent specializes in wine-making and Sister Boniface doubles as a forensic scientist for the local police department. Although one of the detectives, Felix Livingstone, is on secondment from Bermuda, the show is a lot more characteristic of the time period than Father Brown. Has anyone else seen this show?

He does need to look for the positive. I don't know if he believes in fortunetelling but I'm sure someone will tell him what the psychic said and maybe he will take heed. I can't help thinking she picked those cards deliberately. She's from England but a lot of Brits are as liberal as any Democrat in this country. Even so, you can't really tell anything by picking a single card. I've picked single cards to answer a question and the cards are wrong as often as they're right.

Some friends of mine had intended to visit the Poe House when they drove through Baltimore on the way from Connecticut to Florida last fall, but they said it's in such a bad part of town, they were afraid to stop. A lot of historic sites and old cemeteries are now in bad neighborhoods. I think though that pretty much all of Baltimore is dangerous, like all cities where the majority of the elected officials are Democrats.

Did the people who bought this house turn it into a private residence? The people who bought the house in 2019 use it as a private residence.
