I've never read any of these juvenile vampire books, nor do I intend to, but I'd like to know more about how these authors explain women getting pregnant by vampires. In the answer that Maddy posted, there's a reference to the incubus, but the incubus was a spirit and a vampire is a resurrected corpse. Not the same thing at all.

Thanks for posting this. It was very informative and something I will keep in mind if a doctor ever recommends any of these surgeries.

I saw that house when I went to visit some friends in Port Charlotte last year.

I went to Block Island years ago, but I'm sure it's built up a lot since then. I talked to some people who said that they had seen the light or knew someone who had seen it.

I don't understand why Heathenism refers to "Germanic pagans." Heathen is an Old English word meaning "people of the heath," those who were considered uneducated and barbaric because they hadn't accepted Christianity.

I've heard that the reason that Lake Superior never "gives up her dead" is because it's too cold for the bacteria that causes bodies to decompose to live at the bottom of the lake. If true and fish didn't gradually eat the bodies, I suppose they would still be floating around somewhere.

If what she's saying is true, she felt something like she was being shocked when she was running home and was abducted by the UFO. But it seems to me that since she was only 12 at the time, if she had been abducted, her parents would have noticed that she was missing for ever how long she was gone.
I believe in UFOs because I've seen things in the sky that I couldn't identify when others saw the same thing. I'm also not going to say that no one has ever been abducted, but most of the stories people tell about abductions just don't make any sense. It also doesn't make any sense that the same person would be abducted over and over again.

It is strange that so many of these singers and people in bands died at the age of 27. Could it be that some of them believe so strongly that they won't live past 27 that they die simply because they believe they will die? Didn't Elvis say that he wouldn't live past the age of 42 because that was the age his mother was when she died?

I agree that people kill people, but it seems to me that Facebook is the common denominator in a lot of murders and suicides.

In the month of October, the news is full of stories about ghosts and other mysterious subjects, so people are more drawn to groups like this, but once Halloween is over, there are hardly any reports in the news for a while. So maybe it's an out of sight, out of mind, sort of thing.

I hope that all of the young women reading this will learn something and if they ever find themselves in a situation like this that they will fight instead of doing what the man says.

It's one of the reasons that I think that Wiccans are just playing. Real witchcraft doesn't have anything to do with being peace loving, loving animals, being vegan, doing what you wilt and it harm none, three fold destiny, or worshiping sky clad. Gerald Gardner was a dirty old man and he came up with all that nonsense. All those things that Wiccans try to say is a part of their religion are really just personal preferences and don't have anything to do with witchcraft.

I've heard about the lady in black at that cemetery, but I never knew the details. Good job, Lee.

Wiccans have whitewashed magic. A lot of the things used by real witches, sorcerers and magicians of the past would be classified as gross by today's standards.
