There are so many things like this that make the news when they happen but then you never hear anything else about them. I did a quick Google search on this incident but couldn't find anything that isn't stated in the article.

Around 4 hours from now will be the 65th anniversary of the crash that killed Buddy Holly and the others.

I'll never understand why a guy like Bundy, who wasn't bad looking, got to the point that he was spending his time sneaking around at night, peeping in windows and stalking women.

Why would anyone name a cemetery "Coon Dog"? Is it a graveyard for humans or coon dogs?

Did the cameras capture anything of interest?

I've heard of men who are attracted to women who have a leg missing, but I didn't know there were people who actually wanted to hack off an arm or leg. This is as bizarre as that woman who had someone drop some sort of acid in her eyes because she wanted to be blind. I think the attraction to people with missing limbs is a male thing. I've never heard of a woman deliberately seeking out a man with a missing limb.

I'm sure I read this article back in 2015, but I just re-read it and I can't understand why so many people put so much energy into ghost hunting when as of yet, no one really knows what a ghost is. From what I've seen on other sites, most ghost hunters seem to think that ghosts are energy and they can be detected with scientific instruments. But the regulars on this site say ghosts are supernatural and because they do not conform to the laws of science or nature, they cannot be detected. I'd like to know what everyone thinks.

I read somewhere recently that the reason behind the government's "lone gunman" claim was that if the Soviet Union or Cuba was blamed, it would cause a conflict that could possibly lead to World War III.

I didn't watch the video more than a few seconds because of the narrator's annoying speech impediment. However, I'm familiar with the case and because there's no trace of the girls and it's now been almost 50 years, it's probably safe to say it won't ever be solved, unless the bodies are found. The note from Rachel is suspicious, but a comparison of handwriting samples suggest she wrote it. Of course, if the kidnaper had forced her to write it, she would have been nervous, which would account for the correction of her name, or she may have deliberately made the mistake so people would know they were in trouble. They probably met some man who somehow talked them into getting into his car and he took them some place where he could rape them at leisure before killing them. I watched a couple minutes of the video. I don't know if the narrator has a speech impediment or if he just isn't enunciating his words. Whatever his problem, he could benefit form voice lessons.

I'm from New York and we have a lot of ghost stories but Southern ghost stories are somehow more profound than those in other parts of the country.

Good point!
Is anyone planning to give up pumpkin spice because of its "violent history"? I'm not!

OK, the 4 points will be split between Ken and Jason, so each will get 2 points.
