Some friends of mine had intended to visit the Poe House when they drove through Baltimore on the way from Connecticut to Florida last fall, but they said it's in such a bad part of town, they were afraid to stop. A lot of historic sites and old cemeteries are now in bad neighborhoods. I think though that pretty much all of Baltimore is dangerous, like all cities where the majority of the elected officials are Democrats.

Did the people who bought this house turn it into a private residence? The people who bought the house in 2019 use it as a private residence.

Is everyone cooking up their hog jowl and peas for New Year's Day? It's better after sitting in the refrigerator a couple of days.

Did anything ever come of these reports? The investigator said he thought they had a real encounter. I live a few miles northeast of Clarke County, but haven't heard anything more about the Bigfoot sightings. After the first reports, it just disappeared from the news. I've heard that the authorities in Clarke County were trying to find out who made the report to the Bigfoot investigators, but if they found out, they haven't said anything about it.

Has anyone toured the McRaven House lately? I visited the house years ago, but there are now regular and ghost tours and I've heard good things about both.

There has never been, too my knowledge, a time when there were so many freaks in the government, like that one that calls himself Dr. Rachel Levine with Health and Human Services. If Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed for sexual perversions, maybe the heavens did topple Biden's tree. That freak Levine makes my skin crawl. He makes everybody's skin crawl. Can you imagine working in a government office that employs something like that? I don't care what people do in the privacy of their own homes, including their bedrooms, but when they're in public, especially at work, they should dress like what they are, not what they've deluded themselves into believing they are.

I just read this and although I had heard about it before, I still wonder why no one came forward with these accusations while the man was alive. It doesn't take but one person out to destroy someone's reputation to start a rumor, and if that's what happened in this case, it's a shame. It just seems to me that if he was going to morgues and defiling the dead, someone would have said something before Savile died. I haven't seen it myself, but I've heard that in the British TV series, The Reckoning, there's a scene about Savile's necrophilia. After the article about the death of Marilyn Monroe proving Bobby Kennedy wasn't there that day, I've become more skeptical about things I've read about a lot of cases. It is strange that no one ever accused Savile of defiling corpses until after his death when he couldn't defend himself. whatliesbeyond.boards.net/thread/15084/august-mysterious-death-marilyn-monroe

It's a beautiful old house but it looks like it has probably been remodeled at some point. I can't believe the front was that plain in the beginning. Congratulations, Catherine!

I don't suppose any of these cases were solved during the past year. The strangest to me is the little boy taken when he was left alone with his baby sister. I haven't heard about any of them being solved.

Alabama is full of spooky ghost stories and "The Red Lady of Pratt Hall" and "The Dancing Ghost of Grancer Harrison" are two of my favorites. I wish Graveyardbride would do the story of the Drish Mansion, which some people say is the most haunted house in the US. There are stories on line about it, but they aren't very well written and they get a lot of the facts wrong.

Are these the murders that were committed by some weirdo who was living in the house with a woman who had no idea what he was doing? Frankie Richard, the suspect mentioned in the article, is dead now, so the murders probably won't ever be solved.

I read about some serial killer collecting souls, or maybe it was slaves, for the afterlife, but it wasn't Ted Bundy. Edmund Kemper had sex with some of the dead bodies of his victims, including the body of his own mother after he decapitated her.

I think this proves that it's easy to start a rumor and convince people of anything you want them to believe, even on a national scale. People repeat and add to what they hear and read and it's the same with writers, -- most of them just rewrite what others have already written without bothering to check if it's true or not. It's the same with the JFK assassination: if the CIA set out to prove that Oswald acted alone, it would be easy, especially with an ex-CIA director on the Warren Commission.
