JonBenét Case Featured on A&E, CBS and 'Dr. Phil'
The first trailer for A&E's documentary, The Killing of JonBenét: The Truth Uncovered, promises to deliver answers in the 20-year-old case. In the two-hour special, which premieres Monday, Sept. 5, JonBenéts father, John Ramsey, will address the case publically for the first time in years. "We absolutely felt like we were the victim of a lynch mob led by the media," John, 72, says. "There's no question that the Boulder police department believed we were the killers." John and his late wife Patsy were initially suspects in the murder of their 6-year-old daughter JonBenét, who was found dead in their home Dec. 26, 1996. But while their son Burke was cleared in 1999, John and Patsy weren't removed from the suspect list. Now, based on the trailer, A&E's new documentary appears to be attempting to prove the theory that the young pageant queen was killed by an outsider. "This DNA comes from an intruder. This person murdered JonBenét," an unidentified man confidently tells the camera.

In stark contrast to A&E’s documentary, the six-hour docu-series, The Case of JonBenét Ramsey, on CBS, hints at new evidence that would once again cast suspicion on the family. The docu-series begins Sunday, Sept. 18 at 8:30 EST.
