Jersey Devil Sighting in Summer of 2017Yesterday (April 8), Lon Strickler of Phantoms & Monsters reported a Jersey Devil sighting he received from a man who identified himself as a South Jersey police officer. Too bad the report isn't from someone more reliable. Since he and Tobias Wayland of Singular Fortean got into the "Chicago Mothman" business, I'm skeptical of everything they say. |

Yeah, it's hard to believe any of those reports when they all come from the same two authors who have both written books about the Chicago Mothman. |

What this means, of course, is that nothing reported by Strickler and Wayland can be trusted unless the witness is named. The same is true of Mysterious Universe. The so-called writers (and I use the term loosely) on that site make up 90% of what they report and those who believe their garbage -- like the idiots in that asinine reddit sub HighStrangeness -- are in need of a huge dose of reality. |

It's getting close to Halloween, when there are more "sightings" of ghosts and monsters, or more people report previous sightings, so if anyone hears or reads anything about a Jersey Devil sighting, please post it. There don't seem to have been any for the past few years.
