California Highway Sign Encourages Drivers to 'Vote Donald Trump'
CORONA, Calif. – A woman and her husband were surprised Christmas night by a Caltrans sign that didn't look quite right. A Caltrans spokesperson said someone had apparently reprogrammed the northbound 15 Freeway sign at Ontario Avenue to read: "Inland Empire supports Donald Trump. Merry Xmas. Vote Donald Trump."
The original message on the sign was a traffic warning. The Trump message was clearly visible to thousands of passing motorists for an unknown period of time.
Nikki and Dann Worden of Corona were returning home from the movies when they said they couldn't believe what they saw. So, they decided to get off the freeway and pass it again while recording it on video.

If the sign was advertising a traffic warning, they should not have tampered with it. There can be an accident as a result, and considering the signs around it say "road work" it is important for dangerous road conditions to be advertised to people who may not see the other signs due to not being able to read well in the dark. It's not funny when someone gets hurt or dies.
