Is This Bigfoot?HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. – A Boone, NC man vacationing in Henderson County says he spotted – and videoed – what he believes to be a Bigfoot. Eric Walters of Boone said he was renting a cabin near Asheville with his wife and another couple when he decided to walk the trails Thursday morning with his Yorkshire Terrier. He told ABC11 neighbors had warned them there was some bear activity and to be cautious, so he kept the dog close. He said when he thought he saw a bear, he started filming video with his cellphone.
"I quickly realized it was not a bear, but a Sasquatch," Walters reported. "Zippy could tell I was scared and got so riled up that he got loose and went after it. ... Either there's a Sasquatch out there or someone is trying to play a practical joke.”
You'll have to be the judge on this one. Walters just asked that viewers keep an open mind: abc11.com/news/sasquatch-spotted-in-north-carolina/909647/

Why would he think that someone was playing a joke on him? How could someone in a bigfoot suit know that anyone would be watching?

I think that if anyone was dressed up in a bigfoot suit, it was someone the man taking the video knew. If you notice, while he's filming, he turns the camera away from the creature and onto the dog running in the other direction. That doesn't seem normal to me. If you're filming something as unusual as Bigfoot, you don't turn the camera away to focus on a dog.

That's a good point.
