It’s a vampire. Without a doubt. It’s a vile creature. A human corpse that rises from its grave after the sun goes down and to sustain its undead existence, it drinks the blood of the living. In the novel, vampires have a mysterious power over women. Young girls flock to Dracula. They offer themselves up in a wild, erotic frenzy and he, with his razor-sharp fangs, he bites their neck and drinks their blood. – Constable George Crabtree, “Bloodlust,” Murdoch Mysteries.

I liked the first few years of Murdoch Mysteries, but it's gotten so "woke" that I can't watch it anymore.
