What Your Weather Preference Says about You
The type weather you prefer isn’t just a preference, it reveals a thing or two about your personality. While just about everyone knows that extroverts love sunshine and introverts prefer grey skies and fog, there’s a lot more to it.
Sunshine. If you love sunny days above all others, chances are you have a bright, cheery disposition. You’re an extrovert and love spending time outdoors, and you’re all about nature, sea and sand. You have an adventurous attitude and the opportunity to try new things and see new sights invigorate you. You aren’t bothered by what some consider uncomfortably warm weather and prefer shorts and sandals to coats and boots. You crave freedom, and the sunshine seems like a ticket to independence.
Clouds. Those who prefer cloudy days over blue skies and sunshine tend to be quiet and thoughtful, preferring peaceful strolls and simple time with a friend or two to epic quests. You’re relatively easygoing, taking things as they come and rolling with the punches. You have a good sense of humor, but you don’t always share what’s on your mind unless you consider it important. Sometimes you don’t react well to pressure, however, you always manage to deal with your burdens and figure things out in the end.
Wind. People who prefer windy days are free spirits who follow their own paths in life. You don’t mind when the wind messes up your hair, and whether you love to face the wind or just listen to it rattle the windows, you’re someone who seeks his/her own personal truth. Others may try to shower you with advice, but you usually ignore it because you know you’ll find your way.
Fog. If you like foggy days, you have an affinity for the mysterious. Unless you enjoy the coolness of the condensation against you’re skin, you’re probably an indoor person who loves days when you don’t have anywhere to go and you’re free to spend some quiet time looking out the window at a landscape shrouded in grey. You like spooky stories and have an interest in the supernatural. You believe there’s more to life than meets the eye.
Rain. Rainy day lovers tend to see the glass as half-full. You’re an optimist who can make the best out of any situation, and you have a strong appreciation for nature and wildlife. Whether you prefer splashing around in puddles or listening to the patter of rain on the roof, you never let a little water interfere with your pursuits. The rain instills a sense of renewal and you feel as though anything is possible.
Storms. If you prefer stormy days in which the rain and wind are accompanied by thunder and lightning, you’re a homebody who would rather curl up under a blanket with a good book or a mystery movie on TV than face the world. While you love the flash of lighting and the booming thunder, you prefer to enjoy them from the safety of your own home. And the chaos outside makes your home feel even more safe and cozy.
