Nostradamus Makes Dire Predictions for 2023
During this time in which our nation is led (and I use the term loosely) by an unreliable and incompetent government – a time of uncontrolled inflation, cancel culture, and the persecution of Americans by weaponized federal and state agencies – people are naturally worried about their futures and the future of the United States itself. In such situations, it isn’t unusual for the more superstitions to turn to soothsayers and other prophets, and who better than the incomparable Nostradamus?
During the 16th century, the French pharmacist Michel de Nostredame predicted future events all the way to the year 3797, and those who have studied his messages believe 2023 is a year fraught by one catastrophe after the other.
According to some Nostradamus experts, there will be a global financial crisis so devastating “that man will eat his fellow man.” This will lead to a Great Depression as well as several terrorist attacks, which, they believe, will result in World War III, a global conflict that will last seven months.
Additionally, either before, or while, people are standing in soup lines and fighting foreign invaders, a new “evil” pope will become head of the Catholic Church.
What Nostradamus actually wrote about the year 2023 was:
From the celestial fire on the Royal edifice,
When the light of Mars will go out,
Seven months great war, people dead through evil
Rouen, Evreux the King will not fail.
Some experts believe Celestial fire on the royal edifice literally means a meteor will strike Buckingham Palace. Others, however, think it is a reference to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s dark and dastardly accusations against the British monarchy.
When the light of Mars will go out could mean the Red Planet is going to explode, perhaps from the impact of a gigantic meteor, or it could mean something else entirely.
Considering the French city of Rouen is mentioned by name could disturb some residents, however, no one seems certain what Evreux the King will not fail means.
It goes without saying, the predictions of Nostradamus, like all predictions, are open to interpretation – and the year 2023 is almost over.
