RFK Jr. Links Gender Dysphoria to Chemicals
In an interview with YouTube podcaster Jordan Peterson, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., 2024 presidential candidate, claimed “a lot of sexual dysphoria” comes from exposure to chemicals in water.
“I think a lot of the problems we see in kids, particularly boys ... it’s probably underappreciated how much of that is coming from chemical exposures, including a lot of the sexual dysphoria that we’re seeing. I mean, they’re swimming through a soup of toxic chemicals today, and many of those are endocrine disruptors. There’s atrazine (a herbicide) throughout our water supply,” he said.
“Atrazine, by the way, if you, in a lab, put atrazine in a tank full of frogs, it will chemically castrate and forcefully feminize every frog in there,” he continued. “And 10 percent of the frogs, the male frogs, will turn into fully viable females able to produce viable eggs. If it’s doing that to frogs, it could ... there’s a lot of other evidence that it’s doing it to human beings as well.”
According to CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), studies, “When the general population is exposed to atrazine, exposure levels are expected to be very low. Maximum seasonal and average atrazine concentrations of 61.6 and 18.9 ppb, respectively, were detected during a 1993-1998 monitoring program of community water systems in the United States. There was a possible association between atrazine use/exposure of male farmers and increased pre-term delivery, but not decreased fecundity,” the agency said. “Epidemiological studies, examining developmental end points, have found an association between Iowa communities exposed to atrazine in the drinking water and an increased risk of small for gestational age babies and other birth defects.”
While the CDC and various “experts” either minimize or openly scoff at Kennedy’s claims, in 2004, researchers in Colorado discovered male fish were developing female sex organs and scientists concluded the cause could be the amount of estrogen found in water throughout the U.S. At the time, John Woodling, a researcher with more than 30 years in the aquatic biology field, remarked, “I’ve done a lot of studies throughout my career which extends back to 1973. This is the very first time that what I’ve found scared me.”
Government researchers found natural estrogens and estrogen mimickers in 80 percent of streams tested in 30 states, and this was 19 years ago. Estrogen mimickers, believed to be caused by nonylphenols, are found in everything from paints and rubber to cosmetics and plastics, and many scientists believe they could possibly cause kidney, eye, liver and reproductive problems.
If these substances can cause male fish to develop female sex organs, what are they doing to human males?
Kennedy addressed other issues, including vaccinations, and this, ostensibly, was the reason YouTube removed the video. RFK Jr. took to Twitter, posting, “What do you think ... Should social media platforms censor presidential candidates? My conversation with [Peterson] was deleted by [YouTube]. Luckily, you can watch it here on Twitter. Thank you Elon Musk.”
