I just saw an episode of the show Killer Kids in which Rebecca Morris, the woman who made up all those crazy stories about Ted Bundy, claimed he killed Ann Marie Burr. Nothing she said was true. She claimed that when he was a kid, he cut open animals to see what their insides looked like and lured little girls into the woods and urinated on them. If a kid had pissed on someone's young daughter back then, her father would have paid the boy's family a visit they wouldn't ever forget. There's also no evidence at all that he cut open animals, or harmed animals in any way. Even Liz Kloepfer admitted that he wasn't an animal abuser. Anyway, Rebecca Morris said he lived in the Burr's neighborhood, delivered their newspaper and hung out with Ann Marie, and that just isn't true. In fact, he lived 3 miles away and had a different newspaper route. She also said he described the Burr murder to the authors, Michaud and Aynesworth, when they were interviewing him in 1985, and that's not true either. It was a grown woman he talked about raping in an orchard, not a little girl.
I'm not trying to protect him just because I knew him and went to school with his sister. The murders he committed were horrible and he deserved to die for what he did, but there's no reason for Rebecca Morris to lie about what he did or for whoever produced Killer Kids to provide a forum for her lies.

I've seen that episode. You'd think the producers of documentaries would at least attempt to verify information, but they don't, they just go with whatever sells because they know most people will believe anything. I remember reading about the woman he raped in the orchard and I think he said she was a hitchhiker. I know for certain that he never said anything about killing a girl Ann Marie Burr's age when he was "speculating" about his crimes to Michaud and Aynesworth. It wasn't until just before his execution that he finally admitted to killing Lynette Culver, the 12-year-old in Idaho.
