Something ‘Non-human’ Kills Ohio HorseOn November 15, sheriff’s deputies were called to a Ross County farm on Airport Road in southern Ohio to investigate a savage attack on a horse. According to the report, “something” had “busted open” the back door of the barn and torn it apart.
There was a large quantity of blood present, one horse was missing and the owner discovered the animal’s carcass in a nearby creek. The horse had been brutally attacked, then possibly dragged to the location where it was found.
“He [the farmer] has cameras and stated he checked it already and [no one] had been there since he was yesterday,” the report reads. “Upon further investigation, we were able to determine that a human did not do this to the horse.”
There is, of course, the possibility the horse was chased to the creek before it was killed or bled out. After all, there is no known wild animal in the area with the strength to drag a horse such a distance ... unless one believes in Bigfoot.
Of interest, four years ago, something non-human was suspected of attacking horses and other animals in Kentucky.

The bad thing about stories like this is that after the first report, they just disappear. A big cat was suspected in the Kentucky attacks, but if there was ever DNA testing, it wasn't reported.
