This is the October image on my 2022 wall calendar. I don't know the name of this painting, but it's by Charles Wysocki. He died several years ago, but you can still buy calendars with his paintings.

I love that image, but I don't know what it's called either! I had one of his calendars years ago that had that same image for the month of October. When I buy wall calendars, I always check October and if it isn't spooky, I don't buy the calendar.

That particular painting is called “Know It All.” On one of the 2023 calendars, the October image is “Supper Call” (below), which is one of my favorites. I have large framed prints of “Supper Call,” “Wednesday Night Checkers” and “Hellraisers Passing the House of the Seven Gables.”

After you told me, I noticed "Know It All" in the lower right-hand corner of the calendar. I'm not familiar with "Wednesday Night Checkers." Could you post a photo?

This is “Wednesday Night Checkers.” It’s larger than most of Wysocki’s paintings and I don’t think it was ever featured on any of his calendars:

Thanks for the link. I'm going to order the 2023 calendar with "Supper Call" for the October image. It's the one with the horse and woman riding the bicycle on the front.
