I temporarily deactivated the credit card that pays for an ad-free site and forgot to reactivate it today, when the payments are due. I have reactivated the card and hopefully, we won't be bothered by these ads much longer.

Y'all need to be more careful. Before logging in, I was reading one of those Lughnasadh articles and suddenly this big, ugly black face popped up telling me to disable my ad blocker. Then after I logged in, there was a huge ad at the top of the page asking me to pay $2.99 for ad-free browsing on Proboards.
