It happened on the 3 September 2015. I was traveling home in my car after a late meeting with a client. It was around 11.45pm. Just before a very winding part of the road, I noticed a person in white across the road divider on the other side. The person appeared to be carrying a baby and was waiting at a bus shelter. In my mind, I wished I could offer the person a lift as the time for the last bus had elapsed. After a km on the winding road and I am absolutely certain no car had overtaken me, i saw a similar figure in white on my side of the road! As I got nearer, I could see she was a lady with a baby in her arms. She was waving to me to hitch a ride! I was too shocked to stop and just drove past. It sent a wave of shivers through my spine and even at this very moment of writing, I felt another round of shivers! After I went past her, I kept looking at my rear mirror but I could no longer see her. I kept praying that she was not already in my car. It was a real life experience that I will never forget!

Interesting. There are lot of "vanishing hitchhiker" stories like that in America, but I've never heard of one appearing in someone's car unless the driver stops for them. I think they have to be invited.

I would too, but I'd also like to see one on Ghostly Black Dogs, whether they're here in America or in England.

I would too, but I'd also like to see one on Ghostly Black Dogs, whether they're here in America or in England. There are so many Black Dog phantoms in England that they have to be divided into different locations in order to provide very much information about each. But they could easily be divided into different sections of the country, like East Anglia, Yorkshire, Wales, etc., like the "Mysteries and Legends of Essex Churches and Churchyards."
