OK, we all know men are dogs, but if the nanny is telling the truth, and I don't see where she would have had any reason to lie, things were fine between Jennifer and Fotis until Michelle Troconis came along. I think Troconis set out to "get" Fotis and she couldn't have cared less that he had five young children. For that alone, she deserves time in prison, even though she didn't actually break the law. In the past, she could have been charged with alienation of affection, which is still illegal in some states.

The Hotel Piasano allows dogs, and dogs usually have the same affect on ghosts as loud music, so even if the hotel was haunted at one time, I doubt that it still is. The Excelsior House Hotel doesn't allow dogs, there's no loud music and there's a story that even Steven Spielberg was scared by a ghost and checked out early. Not only do the presence of dogs deter ghosts, I think their stink also acts as a ghost-repellent. I knew of a house that had a reputation for being haunted and everyone who lived there reported strange activity, until someone moved in with a damned dog.

It’s true. His name was Maurice Schwalm, and he called himself a psychic, paranormal investigator and author. Like most authors who specialize in the paranormal, he couldn’t write, but his misplaced modifiers were amusing. I remember seeing some things he had written in some ghost publication years ago. There was a picture of him and we couldn't decide if he was a man or a woman because he had a humongous set of man boobs! And you're correct, he couldn't write.

This is 700 W. Mossville Road, Peoria, Illinois. On Valentine's Day, 2013, Nathan Leuthold, a Baptist missionary, shot his wife, Denise Leuthold, in the head with a .40 caliber Glock pistol. He was having an affair with a 20-year-old girl from Lithuania, whom he and his wife met while on one of their missions. The girl worked as a nanny for the Leuthold children before starting college to major in music. See whatliesbeyond.boards.net/thread/3307/roses-bullet-valentines-day
Lithuania is one of the Baltic states.
Glock handguns are manufactured in Austria.

Most reports of the Red Lady are on gray, foggy days in January and February, I wonder if there have been any recent sightings. There were still reports of the Red Lady when I was at Huntingdon but now that Pratt Hall is used as the Department of Education and Psychology, people aren't usually in the building after dark, so no one is there to see her when she walks the 4th floor corridor. However, people walking near Pratt Hall after dark do claim to see what looks like flashes of red light coming from the window of the room where the Red Lady committed suicide.

I'll never understand why a guy like Bundy, who wasn't bad looking, got to the point that he was spending his time sneaking around at night, peeping in windows and stalking women. I wouldn't dare say this on any other site because I'd be accused of blaming the victim, but women need to make sure no one can see in at their windows. Young, college-age women often neglect to put up curtains or other window coverings, and then they get upset if they catch some pervert watching them. The house where Lynda Healy lived was a hovel -- there wasn't even a door on the room in the basement where she slept. I'm sure it never occurred to her parents at the time, but the slumlord who owned that house should have been sued for renting out a substandard property.

I've never understood why their two sons had that sorry POS buried beside their mother.
As for Kenneth Eugene Smith, he got what he deserved, but he should have gotten it more than 30 years ago when Alabama was still using the electric chair. As for making death from nitrogen hypoxia as painless as possible, he didn't show any mercy toward his victim, so he didn't deserve a painless death.

Did the cameras capture anything of interest? In a quick Google search, all I could find were rehashes of the original reports. It's frustrating when the media make a big production about something and then fail to follow up.

It's hardly worth naming it for a single point, but this is 2440 Sheridan Street, Williamsport, Pennsylvania. On the night of January 15, 1999, Dr. Richard W. Illes, a heart surgeon, stood in the wooded area behind the house and shot his estranged wife, Miriam Illes, through the kitchen window. He almost got away with it, but he wrote anonymous letters claiming the writer killed her. While searching the doctor's apartment following the murder, police had noticed a book on graphology (handwriting analysis) on his bedside table and finally put 2 and 2 together. Following the murder, Illes took his and Miriam's son and relocated to Spokane, Washington, where he was arrested four years later.
Miriam met Illes at the hospital where she was employed as a nurse. She was a devout Catholic who attended and taught Sunday School at St. Ann Catholic Church in Williamsport.
On the British TV show Keeping Up Appearances, Sheridan (who is never seen) is the adult son of Hyacinth and Richard Bucket.
Spokane is known as the Lilac City.

I'm constantly seeing comments and write-ups online about how dangerous the Ouija Board is. Anyone half-way intelligent person knows it's just a toy but why do so many people think it attracts evil spirits and and warn others not to use it? That's the kind of crap you find on sites like Facebook and Reddit. The people on Reddit are all potheads and most suffer from mental health issues, and the same people flock to Facebook groups about the paranormal. We had a discussion about this very thing a couple of years ago. See whatliesbeyond.boards.net/thread/9421/reddit-ouija-compared-driving-blindfolded

This is Carrigaphooca Castle, Macroom, County Cork, Ireland. The Irish name for the castle, which is now a ruin, is "Caisleán Carraig a’ Phúca," which translates to "Castle on the Rock of the Fairy." The fairy in question is a pooka, an Irish goblin that appears in the shape of an animal, like that in the Mary Chase play and movie, Harvey. Some pookas are good fairies, but the one at the castle ruins is malevolent.
The spirit of the "unsavory individual" is that of High Sheriff Cormac Tadhg McCarthy, who killed an adversary at the castle and in an attempt to impress the English, feasted on his raw flesh. The English weren't impressed, so he claimed he was possessed by an evil spirit, presumably the pooka. It is said that McCarthy's soul is confined to the castle in atonement for his sins.
On the British TV show Father Brown, which is set in Kembleford, a village in the Cotswolds, Mrs. Bridget McCarthy is the church secretary. She is from County Cork in Ireland, making it her home county. County Cork is known as The Rebel County.
Carrigaphooca Stone Circle is only a few yards from the castle.

Wonder if featuring photos of super-sized caskets on the greasy and sugary crap fat people gorge on would discourage them? The photos could also be placed on the entrance doors of fast-food restaurants, Dunkin' Donuts, etc.

He does need to look for the positive. I don't know if he believes in fortunetelling but I'm sure someone will tell him what the psychic said and maybe he will take heed. If President Trump doesn't win this year, I don't think the US as we know it will be around to celebrate our 250th birthday. With so many in the news media commenting on the negative tarot card, let's hope he starts thinking and talking about what he'll do when he returns to the White House instead of dwelling on what happened in 2020.

Pazder was certifiable. He claimed to be a devout Catholic and had a wife and 4 children, but that didn't stop him from having an affair with Michelle Smith while she was his patient. He tried to get his marriage annulled but when that didn't work, he divorced his wife and married Michelle, who was obviously as crazy as he was. He is credited with coining the term "ritual abuse, and some credit him with starting the Satanic Panic nonsense. He was never prosecuted for his crimes, and what he did was criminal, and he continued practicing as a psychiatrist in Canada until his death in 2004.
