It is odd that so many people are still interested in a TV show from that far in the past. I've never been to any of the conventions, but the fans must all be old and gray haired by now ... unless there are young people who got interested in it from watching the reruns.

A friend of mine tried it and she said that it cured her knee pain. The doctor had told her that she needed a knee replacement. I'm going to try it if I can remember to stop by the liquor store and buy some gin.

Interesting, but rather gruesome for Thanksgiving Day. I heard about this when it happened, but I didn't know that the shooter pled guilty and that there hadn't been a trial.

I thought that the Satanic panics were a thing of the past, but I guess that things are different in Scotland.

I saw that "Bones "episode just recently. Booth was being a jerk and Bones let him think that the remains weren't those of JFK. But she found something that she said proved that the man had a disease that JFK didn't have, but then at the end, she said that scarlet fever could have caused whatever it was and JFK had scarlet fever as a child.
Since this article last year, I've done some reading about the assassination and I just don't believe that Lee Harvey Oswald was the one who shot JFK.

People don't get heartworms from dogs. I believe that people can have heartworms, but they get them from a mosquito bite, not dogs.
I don't like Kate Jackson either. I've always thought that she's too full of herself, probably because she was on Charlie's Angles, which was nothing but soft porn for men to look at women in bikinis.

That is something to think about. Surely the police would have asked what it was that caused him to stand there watching them.
Another thing is that he couldn't have butchered her like that without being able to see what he was doing and Mrs. Cox saw a light coming from the room at 1 a.m., but didn't see one at 3 a.m., so this means that she was probably killed before 3 a.m.

If it's true that the photo of the witch showed up on a polaroid of someone else, then there must be something in that house. Lee, do you have a photo of the house itself that you could post? I'd like to see what it looks like.

Until recently, I wouldn't have agreed with you, Catherine, but I've gained some weight in the past few years and it took someone in the supermarket calling me a fatass before I was motivated to do something about it. Now I think that using euphamisms(sp?)for people who are overweight is doing them more harm than good. Call them what they are and they will be more motivated to do something. I first tried the Garcinia Cambogia and the only thing that it did was make me itch. Now I'm taking Belviq and Metformin and I lost 19 pounds in the first six weeks and I'm still losing.

This is eerie. I don't think I have heard of this murder, or if I did, I didn't hear about the connection to Satanism and the Son of Sam. I also did not know that October 12th was Crowleymas. Thanks for writing this one, Lee.

I deleted my Facebook account over a year ago because I got tired of all the drama. Too many people on Facebook act like teenage drama queens, no matter what age they are.

I didn't know that there was a doubt about Elizabeth Stride either, but like she says in the story, murdered prostitutes weren't unusual and I think that there were prostitutes murdered in that area both before and after Jack the Ripper. But the letters do make it seem that both women were killed by the same man. I also find it strange that if Catherine thought that she knew the identity of the man, that she would have gone off with him into a dark area knowing that he had already killed at least twice before.
