The article doesn't say what kind of drugs they were using, but if it was cocaine or speed, they would lose a lot of weight. People can get lost in the woods, but I've been to Oklahoma and I didn't see a whole lot of woods, not like you in Maine, or Appalachia, where I've also been. These people weren't right in the head, they were reading the Satanic Bible to find a cure for spirits. No normal person would consult the Satanic Bible to try to get rid of spirits.

Well, this certainly makes you think, doesn't it? Good job!

I don't consider Karma and the 3-Fold Law to be the same thing. Karma, or what you do will come back on you, is sort of a universal belief, even the Bible says that you will reap what you sow. The 3-Fold law as I understand Gerald Gardner meant it is that if you do black magic, hex someone, or whatever, the bad luck will come back on you, not just once but 3 times and I don't believe that.

I use herbal teas and so do a lot of people I know. I tried green tea and it gave me diarrhea. After that, I checked online and found out that a lot of people, if not most, have the same problem from green tea. Maybe the way that it controls sugar craving is because people with diarrhea usually don't crave sugar!

What you say could be applied to life, but I don't believe that if you practice an adverse spell or curse or hex someone, that it comes back on you 3 times, or at all for that matter. The 3-Fold Law was an invention of Gerald Gardner and he also claimed that witches practiced in the nude, not because there was any evidence of it, but because he himself was a nudist.

Getting pregnant from a bite or from venom? You must have misunderstood her, Jason. Unless his venom had sperm in it and he bit her ovaries, he couldn't have impregnated her.

The first time that we went to Tarrytown, which was our first DS Festival, we stayed at the Marriott. Last year, when it was in Tarrytown again, we were at the Hilton Double Tree, which is a lot nicer than the Marriott. It's probably true that some would be put off by the high cost of getting to Maine, but it looks to me like it could be made up by the special rates from the hotel. I think that when we go to next year's Festival, we should talk to the organizers about having it in Maine. I think that everyone would enjoy going to Maine instead of New York or California, or worse, New Jersey. It was in Elizabeth, NJ in 2009 at a hotel near the Newark airport.

I agree that the church was just using children as an excuse. Thinking about it, I can't think of anything that would scare a child more than burning in hell forever. Wonder if the church thought about that?

Do you suppose that any of those amulets and seals still have any power in them? Assuming that they ever did.

I didn't get to vote either. Next time, please leave the poll open for at least a few days because not everyone checks in every single day. But I see that of the 11 people who were able to vote before the poll closed, not one person believes that Oswald was guilty.
I'd also like to see that interview and find out why she's changed her mind. Of course, back then, she was probably afraid to defy the authorities, her being Russian.

I also think that spells that you design yourself are more effective. Spell books are just a guide. What works for one person might not work for another.

I doubt that my "existence" as you call it is anymore boring than anyone else's. Our DS trips are the only long vacation that I have every year, so of course I look forward to it.

I agree. I don't like the Marriotts either, especially that one in Burbank, where they ALWAYS hold the DS Festival when it's in California. I wish that the Festival was always on the east coast and it makes sense to have it in New England, or at least close to New England, because that's where Maine is.
Our last DS Trip was just last month, but I'm already looking forward to the next one.

April, you're a Crowley fan, why do you think that Wicca doesn't want to admit that he influenced it?
