Have you ever seen, heard or felt what could be described as a ghost or other paranormal/supernatural entity?

It'd be interesting if those who have/are unsure would share their experiences, and for those who are sure that they have, what makes you certain it was something paranormal? If you're unsure, why? If you have pictures/other evidence, please feel free to share.

Some here have already heard this story before. Back sometime in the late 80's to early 90's, my husband and I had just started dabbling in the magickal arts. We were trying all sorts of crazy stuff, and didn't really know what we were doing. On one particular evening, we were reading a book (my husband reads aloud to me, something we still do to this day) called The Book of the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage (link). We were reading a part in the book that talks about "watchers". We had just read a line that said "as soon as you begin to read this book, the watchers will be alerted." That may not be verbatim, but close. At that point, I glanced up toward the front door of or tiny apartment, because I noticed some movement over there. Hovering about 4 feet off the floor was this very dark shadow. It wasn't really a shadow as it was 3 dimensional. It was the perfect outline of a head and torso, but its arms and lower body faded out. At some point, my husband had looked up at it as well. It proceeded to hoover there a few seconds, then it suddenly popped out the front door. When I say pop, I mean it made audible, loud "pop" that sent a shockwave through the apartment, much like a sonic boom. The curtains on the window next to the door swayed as if by a breeze in reaction to it's departure.
My husband and I just sat there speechless. It was amazing, and my one and only experience with something paranormal of that magnitude. This was well before I had ever started formally investigating ghosts and hauntings. I don't consider this to be a ghost sighting though. I truly believe it was one of these "watcher" spirits that the book spoke of.
