Woman Roasts 'Possessed' Chihuahua in OvenASTORIA, Ore. – A Warrenton woman has been charged with first-degree animal abuse after police say she killed a Chihuahua by roasting it in the oven.
According to a probable cause affidavit, officers began investigating on Monday after someone told police that Noelle Georgia Moor, 28, had put her Chihuahua in the oven and cooked it. When officers arrived at Moor’s residence on Northwest 4th Street, they found a dead dog in the oven. “The smell of burnt hair and flesh was still in the air,” the affidavit said.
When questioned, Moor admitted she placed the 7-year-old Chihuahua in the oven “because she thought an ex-boyfriend was inside the dog.” The dead Chihuahua was transported to Clatsop County Animal Control.
Moor was transported to Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare and booked into the Clatsop County Jail the following day. Moor reportedly suffers from mental health issues. Mental health professionals had been in contact with her in the past month because of several disturbances, according to The Daily Astorian.Sources: KATU and Fox News, March 22, 2018.
