Was Jayne Mansfield a Satanic Witch?
Jayne Mansfield. Beautiful blonde sex symbol of the 50s and 60s, mother, friend ... and Satanist? Yes, you read it correctly. But why would an attractive actress get involved with such a dark religious cult? Let’s explore a little about Jayne Manfield’s Satanist background and her intense involvement with the Satanic church.
When I first read the words “Jayne Mansfield was a Satanist,” I wasn’t sure what to think. At first I didn't believe it, but then I thought about it a bit longer and remembered that many people in the entertainment industry become involved in cults and strange practices. As I read more about the blonde Hollywood bombshell Jayne Mansfield, I discovered she was very close to Anton LaVey, founder of the Church of Satan. But how did she become involved with such a group? Apparently Ms. Mansfield always had a very deep interest in the occult and the supernatural. Some of her closest friends said she would perform black magic rituals and wander around cemeteries at night in search of who knows what. What is obvious is that Jayne Mansfield was more than hungry for success and fame, she was obsessed and would do anything to obtain it. Call it a self-esteem problem, or pure greed, either way, she wanted the world in the palms of her hands and had no qualms about selling herself as the “Queen of Sex” to obtain her goals. Did she also sell herself to the devil? In fact, Jayne Mansfield was the first Hollywood actress to appear nude in a mainstream film, the 1963 sex comedy Promises! Promises! There were those who compared her to Marilyn Monroe, the No. 1 Hollywood sex symbol, but most agreed she was no Marilyn. When she learned about the Satanic movement, she had an intense desire to meet the man who headed the movement, Anton LaVey. After meeting LaVey, Mansfield was initiated into the Church of Satan. According to rumors, her initiation was a huge event with a celebration following in which she received pink baphomet-adorned gifts.
Many deny that Mansfield was a Satanist, but photographs of her with Anton LaVey (above) confirm the connection. LaVey even admitted that Mansfield asked him on several occasions to contact Satan to aid her in certain aspects of her life, including a time when her child was having health problems.
Unfortunately, Jayne Mansfield’s dance with the devil ended abruptly on the night of June 29, 1967, when she was traveling from one gig to the next and her car ran head-on into an insecticide truck. near Slidell, Louisiana. The car actually went underneath the truck, slicing off the top of the car, along with Mansfield’s head. Luckily her three children, who were sleeping in the backseat, survived. Following her death, LaVey claimed he was clipping something from a newspaper and afterwards noticed that on the other side of the article was a photo of Jayne Mansfield and while clipping, he had decapitated her.
