My current favorite is Tarot Spells by Janina Renee. I like it because it uses my tarot cards without destroying them.

I had a little wiccan-ish candle magic book called Practical Candle Burning Rituals by Buckland that was simple, but effective, and I liked it alot. It was the beginning book of my foray into the magickal arts, and I am not Wiccan, but I still recommend it today. I also like doing spells with Tarot cards, although I have not heard of the book you mentioned. I do not destroy the cards either.

My favorite spell book is one called "The Spells of Marie Laveau." I found it in a hoodoo shop and it's one of those cheap ones that's just stapled together and it doesn't have a publisher. I've also gotten some ideas from a book called "Charms, Spells & Formulas" by Ray Malbrough. I use spell books as a guide and adapt them, like I do recipes. I don't like those that are written by authors who practice Wicca because they practice what is called white magic and I prefer hoodoo magic.
