Woman arrested for pulling gun after alien fight
The ex-wife of acclaimed author Cormac McCarthy has been arrested in what is sure to go down as one of the most bizarre cases of 2014.
A fight that Jennifer McCarthy, 48, had with her boyfriend about space aliens became so heated that it led to her pulling a silver handgun on him which she retrieved from her vagina, reports the Smoking Gun.
According to a statement of probable cause, Ms. McCarthy left her house in Santa Fe, New Mexico, after arguing with her 53-year-old boyfriend about space aliens on Saturday morning.
When she returned home, she went into the bedroom and came out "wearing lingerie and a silver handgun in her vagina."
McCarthy then used the gun as a sex toy and asked her boyfriend, "Who is crazy, you or me?" The statement does not record whether he answered the question.
Her boyfriend told police she then removed the gun from her vagina and pointed it at his head.
Fearing he could be shot, the boyfriend took the gun from her and put it in a toilet. Soon afterwards he took it out of the toilet and put it in an outside trash can, where it was later recovered by police.
Cops charged McCarthy with aggravated assault and released her after she posted a $5000 bond.
