Everybody in the show did it for money.
Why does this show remind me so much of that Clint Eastwood movie The Changeling with Angelina Jolie?

I'm saying the killer isn't necessarily the worst guy on the show. Same in The Changeling. The killer and the mother played by Angelina were the nicest guys there. Michael Peterson wrote negative columns about the state and the prosecutor and you know that had to figure in the case as a motive (power money prestige and public image at stake) same as in The Making of a Murderer. Scratch my face scratch yours. At least it possibly prevented scratch my back scratch yours.

He wrote some columns criticizing local officials, but when he falsely claimed that his purple heart was from being injured in combat, no one believed anything he said. The prosecutor set out to get him because he was guilty.

Does anyone think that it's possible that he killed the woman in Germany's husband, the one who died on active duty?
Another thing, it takes a while for a person to bleed to death, unless there's an artery gushing blood. I don't understand how she bled to death from a few cuts on her head.

In the first trial, I read where one doctor said that there had been a decreased blood flow to the brain for hours and that it had taken hours for her to bleed to death.
