Mystery Location No. 87: February 11, 2018

This is the murder of Susan Hamilton in Oklahoma City on Valentine's Day 2001. Her husband, John Hamilton was an ob/gyn who also performed abortions and was often targeted by protesters, hence the dangerous occupation. They also received threatening phone calls, and his name was once featured on a Wanted posted.

On the day of the murder, he had ordered red orchids for his wife.  The name Oklahoma comes from the Choctaw words "okla humma" which translates to red people. 

John had performed a couple of surgeries in the morning, which would seem to give him an alibi, but police found he was late to the second surgery and that gave him a window to get home and kill Susan.
