Dick Wolf, who produces Law and Order, said of the show: “I don’t care what attitude you go in with, your mind is going to receive information that I think will change a lot of peoples’ attitudes. This is one of the crimes of the century. It’s absolutely horrible, but when you see the information, I think people are going to realize, well, they did it, but it wasn’t first-degree murder with no possibility of parole. They probably should have been out eight or 10 years ago because they should have been convicted of first-degree manslaughter, which is a different punishment than first-degree murder. So yes, this is a show that has an agenda too.” He’s obviously one of those Hollywood liberal progressives who fell for those monsters’ lies and wants to see them released. I don't know how anyone could believe anything those two monsters said. I never believed that they were sexually abused. I think that one of their friends said something about being sexually abused and when they got caught, they thought they would gain sympathy by claiming that their parents abused them. Eric never mentioned sexual abuse to the psychologist, not even after he admitted that they killed their parents.

Didn't they say that the reason Erik didn't say anything about being sexually abused to the doctor was because he was sending a copy of his reports to Jose?

Didn't they say that the reason Erik didn't say anything about being sexually abused to the doctor was because he was sending a copy of his reports to Jose? If Jose was sexually abusing Eric, I don't think that he would have let him see a shrink, knowing that he might tell the doctor about the abuse. I didn't believe anything those two said about anything. They were just a couple of spoiled rotten kids who didn't want to wait to get their parents' money.

So what is Dick Wolf hoping for? That people will watch the show and decide that they had a reason to kill their parents and demand that they are set free? Would a new trial where they were found not guilty be required to set them free?

Did anyone watch Dateline last night (11/17) about the Menendez brothers? It was just as biased as the TV show that ended last Tuesday.

I thought that "Law and Order True Crime" was going to be about several cases, but now I've found out that the season ended with the Menendez brothers. What was the point of calling it "Law and Order True Crime"? Why not just call it "The Menendez Brothers Case"?

Menendez Brothers Together Again after 21 YearsSACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Menendez brothers, who were convicted of killing their parents in their Beverly Hills mansion almost three decades ago, have been reunited in a Southern California prison. Lyle Menendez (above left), 50, and his 47-year-old brother, Erik Menendez, were reunited after Erik was moved into the same housing unit, Terry Thorntopn, a Corrections department spokeswoman, said Thursday. The brothers are serving life sentences for fatally shooting their parents, José and Kitty Menendez, in 1989. They had been separated since their convictions in September 1996.
Lyle Menendez was moved in February from Mule Creek State Prison in Northern California to San Diego’s R.J. Donovan Correctional Facility, after his security classification was lowered. But the brothers lived in separate housing units and would not have seen each other, Thornton added. The prison houses nearly 3,900 male inmates.
That changed Wednesday, when Eric moved into the same housing unit as his brother, a unit where inmates agree to participate in educational and other rehabilitation programs without fighting or creating disruptions. “They can and do interact with each other, all the inmates in that facility,” Thornton explained, though she didn’t know how the brothers reacted during their reunion.
The brothers had asked two decades ago, after they were sentenced, to be sent to the same prison. At that time, prison officials said they often balked at putting partners in crime together and the Beverly Hills detective who investigated the slayings argued that the brothers might conspire to escape if they were in the same facility. Leslie Abramson, Erik Menendez’s attorney at the time, called housing the brothers separately “exceedingly cruel and heartless.”
Lyle, who was then 21, and Erik, 18, admitted they fatally shot-gunned their entertainment executive father and their mother, but said they feared their parents were about to kill them to prevent the disclosure of the father’s long-term sexual molestation of Erik. Prosecutors contended there was no evidence of any molestation and the sons were after their parents’ multimillion-dollar estate.

It wouldn't surprise me if these two monsters are paroled within the next few years.
