Trolley Ghost Tours: Augusta, GeorgiaAugusta Ghost Trolley offers tours year-round, but is kicking off its fall/winter season this weekend with several themed tours. Beginning Friday, Sept. 23, tours return to the Friday and Saturday evening schedule with tours starting at both 7 and 9 p.m. Tours begin at The Book Tavern, 936 Broad Street, Advance reservations are required. Friday & Saturday, Sept. 23-24: Gravely Mistaken Tour. Based in part on the book, Gravely Mistaken: Tales of Medicine, Mishaps & Body Snatching in Augusta, Georgia, by local author Janis Ann Parks, this tour includes after-hours access to historic Cedar Grove Cemetery; $23 adults, $13 ages 5-12.
Friday & Saturday, Sept. 30-Oct. 1: Nevermore: Edgar Allan Poe Tribute Tour. Begins and ends at The Partridge Inn (above) and includes after-hours access to historic Summerville Cemetery and “deadly desserts” at The Partridge Inn; $25 adults, $15 ages 5-12.
Saturday, Oct. 8: Dessert with a Ghost Tour. A ghost tour with desserts at the end; $25 adults, $15 ages 5-12
Friday & Saturday, Oct. 14-15; Thursday, Friday & Saturday, Oct. 21-22; and Friday, Oct. 28: Ghost Trolley Tour. $23 adults, $13 ages 5-12
Saturday, Oct. 29: Ghostbuster Tour. With guest host and paranormal entertainer Michael Thornton; $23 adults, $13 ages 5-12.
