I heard about the Dancing Ghost of Grancer Harrison when I was assigned to NAS Memphis in the Navy. I went with friends to some of the haunted places in Kathryn Tucker Windham's books, but Kinston, Alabama, is over 400 miles from Memphis. |

For some reason, I always think of the Dancing Ghost of Grancer Harrison this time of year. I don't know why because he died in the spring. Maybe it's because some of the reported sightings happen in the fall when peanuts are being harvested. |
