The answer is the Deane House, 806 9th Ave., S.E., at Fort Calgary in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, near the Elbow River. It was built by Captain Richard Deane for his wife, Martha, but she died before it was finished. Fort Calgary is named for Calgary Castle on the Isle of Mull in Scotland. Alberta is named for Princess Louise Caroline Alberta, the wife of the Governor General of Canada and the daughter of Queen Victoria. The Wild Rose is the official flower of Alberta. The Deane House was the scene of a murder when a man named Roderick Umperville murdered his wife, Irma, in front of their two children and then killed himself. There are several ghosts in the house and an old disconnected telephone sometimes rings.

Congratulations, Pat. I just noticed that when I added the 7th clue at the beginning of the thread, it did not post, but you obviously knew to look at the end of the thread.

Instead of naming the location on the 7th day and earning 1 measly point, you should have waited until it was listed again and earned 7 points.

Instead of naming the location on the 7th day and earning 1 measly point, you should have waited until it was listed again and earned 7 points. A lot of those that weren't named in the old group were never listed a second time, so I decided to name it while I had the chance.
