Ghost Adventures Stars Dead in Apparent Murder-SuicideGhost Adventures star Mark Constantino (above right) killed his co-star wife (left), her roommate and then himself after suffering from years of physical abuse at the hands of his petite spouse, authorities told The Post Tuesday.
The Constantinos had a long history of domestic violence including 10 incidents in the past three years, with Debra acting as the primary aggressor in a majority of the incidents, according to a police source. Debra was first arrested in July 2012 for domestic battery, after a booze-fueled fight with her husband and daughter. Debra attempted to kick her daughter out of the house and violently pushed her husband when he interceded, according to police sources. Then in March 2015, the heavily made-up ghost hunter was busted again for domestic battery, but this time she used a grapefruit knife on her husband, whom she seemed in love with on the popular Travel Channel show, sources said. The fiery redhead drunkenly slashed Mark’s forearm during a heated argument over their finances in their kitchen, authorities said. A concerned neighbor called 911 after hearing loud screams coming from the home of the kooky couple, who were known for their theatrical conversations with the dead. Mark later told police he did not report the attack because this was “everyday behavior” for his wife, sources said. Just last month, Debra filed for divorce after claiming Mark and their 23-year-old daughter ripped her out of a car and then beat and strangled her, sources said.
The reality stars were recurring characters on the show, which launched in 2008, and were considered experts in Electronic Voice Phenomena, also known as EVP. The bodies of the paranormal investigators were found with gunshot wounds Tuesday afternoon inside their daughter’s Sparks apartment. Debra’s roommate, James Anderson, 55, was also found dead from a gunshot wound to the head in their Reno apartment earlier in the day.
Police initially responded to Debra’s Reno residence on Escalera Court after receiving a 911 call at 6:30 a.m. by an acquaintance. Inside the home, police found Anderson’s body and the acquaintance reported that Debra, 52, was missing. Police then traced the cell phones of Debra and Mark to their daughter’s Courtside Gardens Apartment in Sparks, sources said. When they arrived, police immediately heard gunshots and a man’s voice from inside the home screaming “This is a hostage situation!” and ordering them to “Back off!” a source said.
Investigators eventually made contact with Mark, 53, but were unable to convince him to surrender, sources said. After more than two hours of tense negotiations, the SWAT team heard a gunshot from inside the apartment and abruptly used explosives to gain entry. The couple died in an apparent murder-suicide, police said.Source: The New York Post, September 25, 2015.

Sounds like those two did society a favor, judging by their history of violence and stupidity.

If they believed that the dead could talk, what do you suppose the man thought would happen once they were dead?

Is Ghost Adventures still on TV? I never saw it. The only ghost hunting show I've ever watched was when the two plumbers investigated Seaview Terrace and that was only because I wanted to see the interior of the house.

Debra Constantino was on recently without Mark. They were not a regular part of the show. They would just be on occasionally. I read in another article that their neighbors reported that they were both a mess and always threatening to kill each other.

This was posted to Facebook by their daughter: This is one of the worst things that I've ever heard a child say about a parent. It takes two to fight and he was the one with the gun.

It sounds to me like there's something wrong with the whole family. There's definitely something wrong with that girl who posted that on Facebook.

If she was crazy and attacked him with a knife, why didn't he stay away from her? I agree with Pat, the whole family is nuts, but he's the one who went to her house with a gun and killed her roommate. Of course, he might have been more than just a roommate, but that's no reason to kill someone.

Daughter of Dead Ghost Hunters Pleads Guilty to AssaultSPARKS, Nev. – The daughter of a Nevada ghosting-hunting couple killed last year in a murder-suicide pleaded guilty to a battery charge related to previous assaults involving herself, her parents and her mother’s friend. Mark Constantino and his wife, Debra, appeared on the Travel Channel’s series, Ghost Adventures, before he kidnaped and fatally shot her during a seven-hour standoff with Sparks police in September 2015.
Their daughter, Raquel Constantino (above), pleaded guilty to the attack on Summer Myers, Monday, March 14, in exchange for dismissal of all other charges stemming from past disturbances. KOLO-TV in Reno reports a Washoe District Court judge agreed to suspend a six-month jail sentence as long as she completes anger management and alcohol counseling.
Raquel Constantino and her father originally were charged with assaulting Debra Constantino about a month before the killings at a Sparks apartment.
