Human skulls, books on witchcraft and Satanism found at Connecticut transfer station
HARTFORD, Conn. – The state medical examiner has determined that two skulls (above) found at a Stamford transfer station belonged to an older man and woman. The skulls were found Thursday afternoon in a pile of recyclables brought from the home of a Fairfield man who had recently died.
Stamford police Lt. Diedrich Hohn says police are investigating information that the deceased homeowner may have been involved in the occult. He says several books and videos dealing with witchcraft and Satanism were found in the same load of recyclables.
Hohn says neither skull showed signs of trauma and police are trying to determine whether either might have been a homicide victim. He says it is possible the skulls were acquired through a grave robbery or purchased online.
