Did this man really rob a bank by hypnotizing the teller?NEW YORK – A man by the moniker of the "Hypnotist Bandit" is believed to have robbed a bank in Manhattan on Friday. The nickname was bestowed after footage emerged of the man staring at bank tellers and prolonging eye contact during three separate robberies he also perpetrated in late May and in June.
As he stared, the bandit passed a note to the tellers demanding money in all robberies. On Friday evening, the same man passed a note to a Bank of America teller indicating this was a robbery and to give him large-denomination bills quickly and easily.
The robber is described as being approximately 6'2" to6'4" tall, of Caucasian or Hispanic descent and around 30-years-old with dark hair and eyes.Source: NewsTalk, June 23, 2014.
