Haunted Ghost Tours Oct. 26 in Uptown Butte
BUTTE, Mont. – The 12th annual A Night on the (Haunted Ghost) Town is slated for Thursday, Oct. 26.
The guided ghost tours are presented by Mainstreet Uptown Butte. Tours are set for 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. Tours are $10 per person.
If a child is small and can ride on your lap, then they are free, but they must be able to ride on your lap the entire time. Cash and checks are accepted. Checks can be made out to Mainstreet Uptown Butte.
People pay as they board the bus. Dress warmly. Wear good shoes that you can walk up and down stairs and upon “un-level” surfaces. Bring a flashlight, a camera and any ghost hunting tools you would like. Families with small children are encouraged to take the 5:30 p.m. tour.
The 2½-hour tours include a mix of history, paranormal stories and ghost hunting. You can board the bus at any of the following locations. Sparky’s Bar & Grill, Broadway Cafe, Soho Asian Cuisine, Uptown Cafe, M&M Cafe, Trimbo’s Pizza, Metal’s Bar and Grill, Pekin Noodle Parlor, Jailhouse Coffee, Casagranda’s Steak House, Fred’s Mesquite Grill, and Vu Villa Pizza.
Tours involve some walking up and down stairs. If you would like to ride the bus and are unable to do a lot of stairs, guides will make sure to share stories with you so that you can enjoy the experience.
People are encouraged to make reservation early to ensure a seat on the bus. For information or to make required reservations, send email to butteghosttours@gmail.com/
When making reservations, include your name, telephone number, the number of people in your party and which uptown Butte restaurant you would like to be picked up at for the tour. Reservations will close Oct. 21 and we will only accept people attempting to walk-on at that point.
