Halloween Spooky Location Photo Contest 2021!
This year’s Spooky Location Photo Contest begins Thursday, October 14. All you have to do is find and submit a photo of an extant (currently standing) spooky looking house or other building, (i.e., a church, school, castle, or whatever). You are not required to provide the street address of your submission, but you must provide the name of the city and state/province (or city and country if not located in the U.S. or Canada) where it is located. Please note: the photo must be a photograph, not a painting or drawing.
You may submit your photo via PM (by sending the photo itself or a link to such photo) to either Lee (graveyardbride) or me and we will post them. This way, when we vote, no one will know who submitted which photo. The deadline for submissions is midnight (EDT) Sunday, October 24. Voting will begin Monday, October 25, so that we’ll have a winner in time for Halloween. The winner will be allowed to choose a book or DVD from our Prize List.

You should search for a spooky-looking building something like the one in the photo (below) of Bran Castle (aka Dracula’s Castle) in the Transylvanian Alps of Romania. Please do not submit a photo from a previous contest – you may submit a photo of the same house/building, but not the same photo. Photos of spooky locations are easy to find.
One other thing: Please attempt to find a photo that doesn’t include cars, people, animals, road signs, etc. If you can’t find a good photo of the location you want to submit without vehicles, or whatever, Lee can remove unwanted objects, but the process is time-consuming.
