Ellen DeGeneres Fears Ghost Is Haunting Her New House“Ellen DeGeneres fears she’s got a creepy house-guest in her new $40 million mansion – a ghost!” declares the National Enquirer.
Huh?
According to the tabloid, the talk show host “has repeatedly been spooked by eerie noises and believes the home she shares with wife Portia de Rossi is haunted by its original owner, who died there in 2009.”
“The house had been remodeled, so Ellen thought it would have no trace of the former owner,” a so-called “pal” tells the outlet. “But she was wrong. Within a few nights of moving in, Ellen started hearing random noises, including footsteps and doors opening and closing.”
Oh, but that’s not all!
“In the middle of the night, she heard a woman’s faint cry,” claims the Enquirer source. “Ellen is totally freaked out. She hasn’t had a solid night’s sleep since she moved in.”
The tabloid’s insider says DeGeneres “doesn’t have any other explanation for the mysterious sounds and voices” than to believe it’s a ghost.
We’ll pause here to point out that just a couple weeks ago, the Enquirer cover story was a bogus “cancer shocker!” about DeGeneres.
There’s no mention of that in the new piece, because it was completely made up, just like countless previous Enquirer reports about DeGeneres.Source: Gossip Cop, February 26, 2014.

The Enquirer is a junk tabloid, I don't believe a single thing they post.

What you say is mostly true, but it was the National Enquirer that first published a story about that monkey-eared fraud in the White House using a fake Social Security number.
