I may go to the Spook Fest in Oneonta, Alabama, which is 115 miles from where I live, once I find out more about it. There's not much info, only that it will include "Kevin Cain's HAUNTED DOLLS to Merlin the Mentalist and much much more. Vendors and speakers all day long. Frank Lee with CASPIR PARANORMAL, Alex Bob AKA Bigfoot Bob, Kat Hobson the voice of FATE MAGAZINE. And more!" and that "The complete lineup of guest speakers coming out soon." It's only a month away, so you'd think they'd have the lineup by now.

Catherine and Serena (she went with us to England) and I are going to the Spook Fest in Oneonta, AL on the 24th of August. I doubt there'll be another event near where I live. But I agree, people do need to plan in advance, especially if they have to make travel plans like hotel reservations.

Be sure to post about what it was like. I've never been to a ghost conference, but I went to the Mothman Festival and Kecksburg. I'm trying to get time off to go to the Tennessee Bigfoot Conference in October. My nephew really wants to go.
