Sometimes I read r/paranormal just for the laughs. The headings are a hoot. Here are some of the latest "topics" of discussion. (I didn't correct anything, they're exactly as posted.): Using herbs to clear building from spirits Dreams of a constant demon and other weird happenings Trying to Contact Spirits is not a power you should mess with I'm hearing my sister when she's not home Encounters with The Devil My brother and I had the same encounter the same night, only one of us escaped I touched a spirits hand Something small happened in my house this morning I just saw my dead ex making pasta I think it tried to burn me?!?! I've gone to hell What the shit happened??? The demon on my bed Whatever is in my house has learened to sound like me I Saw A Weird Clawed Hand Reach Out For Me Little Boy Ghost/Demon playing air hockey in my basement... Seriously! The topics themselves are preposterous, but these bumbling idiots take this malarkey seriously and actually discuss it! Someone just posted this crazy one: Haunted by, what i think are Windego’s

I thought that a Wendigo was what the Indians called a spirit that had something to do with cannibals.

And they usually begin with: "Me and my friend," or "We seen something last night," or "I used an Ouija board ...." (I absolutely hate when someone says "an" Ouija board instead of "a" Ouija board! I agree, these people are either dopers or special ed kids.) Here's another about AN Ouija board: My Dad's Experience with an Oujia Board

Here's another about AN Ouija board: My Dad's Experience with an Oujia Board Someone else said most of those who post on r/paranormal are teenagers, who are either dopers or in special ed. I think the same is true of the moderators.

Someone else said most of those who post on r/paranormal are teenagers, who are either dopers or in special ed. I think the same is true of the moderators. If an adult created and/or moderates that subnormal subreddit, then he or she is some ignorant, uneducated dunce like Kelli4JC.
Here's another gem:
Guys, I need some serious help. I'm not just fearing for myself, but for my new puppies. www.reddit.com/r/Paranormal/comments/ax0ear/guys_i_need_some_serious_help_im_not_just_fearing/
There are 16 replies from morons who tell him to call a priest or exorcist, smudge the house with sage, spread salt around ... one tells him one of the spirits is a "demon" ....

Sites like r/paranormal make me ashamed to admit that I have an interest in the paranormal.

Sites like r/paranormal make me ashamed to admit that I have an interest in the paranormal. After this thread was started, I've started checking r/paranormal when I think of it and it's always the same old same old, kids talking about their haunted houses and imagining demons are after them. I always wonder what these brats do that would make them think demons were coming for them.

Y'all won't believe this. The crazy woman, Kelli4JC, now claims that she was attacked by an incubus!
They are indeed real. I've had encounters with an Incubus several years ago.
I could completely feel it, but could not see it whatsoever. All I could see was the outline of it under my sheets. Every night it would open my bedroom door, and in the form of a snake/serpent I could see it slither under my sheets from the foot of my bed right up to my face. I literally felt it's long thin snake tongue touch my face.! Shortly after, it would morph into a much larger human-like form, and proceed to do what they do...you know. I would be physically and emotionally drained the entire next day! It went on for about 3 weeks total. Other completely strange shit happened too, but that’s a whole other thing that I rarely talk about b/c people think I’m crazy. I know I not though, and I know it/they was/are real...VERY real!

https://www.reddit.com/r/demons/comments/ayofgn/does_anyone_else_have_experiences_with/ei6m5cs/ I agree with Julia, if there's a father in the picture, he needs to take those kids away from that fool. If she's imagining a serpent is getting into bed with her and dreaming her kids are possessed, there's no telling what she might do.

I created an account once, but it didn't take but a few days for me to realize that I was interacting with a bunch of drugged-out losers who should have been in an insane asylum. If you check the comment history of people like Kelli4JC, you'll find that just about every one of them is either a pot head or taking some kind of antipsychotic medication. Every once in a while, you'll come across someone interesting, but they never stay long because the trolls harass them until they get discouraged and fade into oblivion.
