What Does Your Favorite Season Say about Your Personality? As we find ourselves moving from the long, warm days of summer to the shorter, chillier days of fall, we also find ourselves divided. There are those of us who can’t wait to sip on hot cinnamon-spiced drinks and bake fall fruit into autumn-flavored treats. Others are holding tight to the last days at the beach and by the pool. Then there are those who can’t wait for winter, welcoming its snowy days and cozy sweaters, or spring, when the Earth awakens – the eternal return. No matter what type you are, make no mistake: Your favorite season speaks volumes about your personality! Here’s what your pick says about you:
Spring: After a long winter, just about everyone looks forward to the first warm days of spring, but perhaps you’re especially fond of temperate and rainy days, more daylight hours, clothing and decor in pastel colors and the beginning of baseball season. Fittingly, you’re a go-getter who doesn’t shy away from the curve balls that life might toss your way. You may even be something of a natural-born leader who believes in setting goals and then achieving them in a pragmatic, step-by-step manner. This isn’t to say you don’t have an idealistic, romantic side, too – we are talking about the season that brings spring fever and weddings galore! Others likely see you as creative, innovative, easygoing and reliably upbeat!
Summer: People often cite summer as their favorite season because of what they don’t have to do during the warmest time of the year: bundle up in bulky sweaters and boots, drive in treacherous conditions, or in some cases, work! In short, they enjoy the freedom of the season – whether it means being able to slip on a maxi dress to run out errands, or vacations filled with lazy days sipping lemonade on the back porch. So if you’re a summer person, you’re likely a free spirit who tends to be comfortable in your own skin. Others may commend you for having a sunny personality and admire your ability to light up a room. You’re not one to let an opportunity pass you by – you believe in taking the bull by the horns!
Fall: Fans of fall can’t get enough of the crisp air, flame-hued leaves and baking/eating pies and other comfort foods. If you count yourself among this group, you may be something of a traditionalist, as well as a social butterfly, especially when it comes to family get-togethers. After all, autumn is the opening act of the holiday season and you’re likely one to start planning ahead for all the festive fun with loved ones in the months to come. You’re known to be loyal, creative, and cheerful, but probably just as content on the couch watching TV as you would be at a big Halloween soiree. Your friends adore you for being so unapologetically you – which is supremely salt of the earth!
Winter: If you look forward to pulling on boots, wrapping yourself in the warmest of sweaters, stringing up holiday lights and sipping hot cocoa after playing in the snow, you may be particularly adept at putting a whimsical spin on the challenges you experience in life. After all, you’re able to see beauty in even the shortest, darkest days. Sure, you may be more reserved and you do not necessarily wear your heart on your sleeve all the time, but those closest to you know exactly how you feel. Similarly, you may be friendly with many different people, while considering only a select, exclusive group of friends your VIPs. Even if it’s in a quiet, measured way, you would do just about anything for your family – no questions asked!Source: Maressa Brown, PG everyday, September 4, 2014.

I like both fall and winter, which is why I was happy during those years that I lived in Alaska.

I am not a fan of summer, yet live in a state where year-round, it's practically endless summer. I once spoke to a man who told me he loved the fall, since he was born in November. That was the first time I had heard someone correlate the love of a season with one's birth month. Has anyone heard of that? My mother and sister both love the heat, and coincidentally, they were born in the summer, I love the cool, crisp air and was born in the fall. I don't know if there's any truth to what the man said but it's all in good fun and was just curious to find out. Do any of you who prefer a certain season have a birthday that falls within that season, for the record: Winter always starts on 1 December. The seasons are defined as Spring (March, April, May), Summer (June, July, August), Autumn (September, October, November) and Winter (December, January, February).

I was born in March. Spring is ok, but not my favorite. Fall is my favorite. I spent most my life in Southern CA, where it was summer year round pretty much. I grew to hate it. Now I am enjoying the summers here in Portland OR.
If you follow astrology, there is correlation about your personality and the season that you were born in. It is said that if you were born in spring, you tend to have a child-like personality. Summer people are out going and active. Fall people are more subdued, and winters seem to be wise beyond their years.

Interesting, I had never heard of this. Where did you find it?

Picked it up here and there over the years, talking with astrologers and ceremonial magickians. Some believe that the seasons have more influence on you than distant stars and planets. The stars and planets are merely a map.

Ah, I was hoping to read an article about it, but if it was by word of mouth, perhaps I won't be able to find anything online.

If I find something written on it, I'll let you know. I am sure it's out there somewhere.

I don't think I have a favorite season. Of course, I've lived in an extremely cold climate all my life and love our short summers, I also love the fall, winter and spring because they all have a lot to offer. Spring means cleaning up after the long winter snows and planting flowers and vegetable gardens (after Memorial Day); summer is a time for enjoying the beach and mountains; fall brings colorful foliage and Halloween; and winter is a time for cross-country skiing, sitting by the fire and keeping warm.

Where I live, there isn't enough difference in the seasons for me to have a favorite. Ninety percent of the time, it's hot and muggy. Even when it isn't broiling hot, most of the time, it's still muggy.
