Some of you know that I went to the Kecksburg UFO festival the last weekend in July. It was fine, but there weren't anywhere's near the number of people and events that there were at the Mothman Festival in 2014. A buddy and I went and I took my nephew, Luke, and he took his two sons, who are Luke's friends and school mates. There aren't any hotels in Kecksburg, so we stayed in New Stanton at the Express Inn. We had to leave early Friday morning because it's a long drive and we had to stay until Monday morning because the speakers were scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
Stan Gordon, the UFO and Bigfoot and other cryptids expert gave a good talk and the kids really enjoyed the talk by Colin Schneider, who is only 16. He's one of the youngest UFO and cryptid researchers. Ron Murphy, who wrote "Unexplained World of the Chestnut Ridge," which is about strange events in western Pennsylvania, gave a presentation, and so did Brian Parsons, who has the radio show. There were also some people there who actually saw the UFO crash back in 1965.
The festival was put on by the fire department, so it was sort of a combination event. There was lots of good food and the people were very nice.

I'm surprised that you actually went, but glad you had a good time.
