I have friends that are Muslim. They are good people. Yes, I know that some are not, but again, I do not believe that the numbers warrant the fear. I do agree we should be cautious with who we allow into the country. I don't usually comment on things like this, but from most accounts, Ted Bundy, Al Capone and John Dillinger were "good people".
I've given what you've said some thought and I have a hypothetical for you: Suppose you and I and others in this group were all in the US Army defending the United States. Then one day we get word that the southern states have seceded again and reformed the Confederacy. We have a lot of southerners in this group and I'm sure that they're all good people. But if they heard that the Confederacy was back, they'd be gone before you could turn around and say "Where the hell did they go"? And if our Army was ordered to invade their new Confederacy, they'd waste us all in a heartbeat. My point is that blood is thicker than water and no matter how good you think people are, they're not going to turn on their own.
You ought to read up on what is called "genetic memory". I've been reading everything that I can found about it since Joanna posted an article about it last year and I think that if you studied it, that you would understand better where the rest of us are coming from on this.

I posted this article to demonstrate what hypocrites some celebrities are, but things have taken a different direction. Here are the facts: 65% of those in the United States who have been charged with aiding and abetting ISIS are lifelong Muslims and 18% are refugees. The remainder are misguided young people who don’t realize the gravity of their actions. Many, probably most, terrorist attacks involve Muslim refugees or the sons of Muslim refugees. The Boston Marathon bombers were refugees. The Fort Hood shooter, the Chattanooga shooter and the Orlando shooter were all the sons of Muslim refugees. The Paris theater attack in 2015, the Nice (France) attack last July, the Berlin Christmas attack and the recent Dusseldorf axe attack were all committed by Muslim refugees.

Steve I do appreciate that you and others are very concerned about muslims. I am not without my own concerns, however if fellow humans are in need of refuge, and we are in a position to be able to help, then in my opinion, we must do what we can, regardless of the race, color or religion of the people in need.
This doesn't mean I think we should throw caution to the wind.
I will read up on genetic memory though. I have heard a little about it, but only very little.

Oh, cry me a freaking river! We don't owe anybody anything. Could anything be more ironic than a freaking Satanist telling us what we, as a Christian nation, "must" do?

It's not that we "owe" it to anyone, it's just the right thing to do, in my opinion.

You're a Satanist?

No LOL! Jason just likes to tease me about it. I used to be a member of the OTO, known for being Aleister Crowley's masonic organization. The OTO is not a Satanist organization, though some people like to call us that. I have since become a Buddhist.

“The first consideration in immigration is the welfare of the receiving nation. ... the influx of a large number of new immigrants unaccustomed to the government of a free society could be detrimental to that society. Immigration, therefore, must be approached carefully and cautiously.” – Thomas Jefferson

It's not that we "owe" it to anyone, it's just the right thing to do, in my opinion. Nidal Hasan, the Fort Hood shooter, who killed 13 Americans and injured more than 30 others in 2009, was about to be deployed to Afghanistan. Prior to the shooting, he told a local store owner that he was stressed about his imminent deployment because he might have to fight or kill fellow Muslims. Steve's right. People don't turn on their own.
