You posted some articles about things like The Dancing Ghost in Alabama, the Red Lady at Huntingdon College, phantom fiddle music and some others that most of us who were members then can't find in the old groups because yahoo changed the format. I'd like to read them again and since it's getting close to Halloween, I thought that others might like sharing their spooky Halloween Stories and poems too and let people vote on the one they like, and that will tell everyone what kinds of stories that our members love to read. Some of mine favorites were were those from Flagler College and another was the fiddlers who was bitten by a rattlesnake. I also liked those about the Salem Witch Trials. Another was about a "Chair of Death" in England and the lighthouse tales. Any others that people have written and haven't been posted should also be posted. Between now and Halloween is the perfect time to post them. Also, has anyone posted a story or poem yet for our Halloween Contest? If they did, no one has seen them.

We have a Hallaween story/poem contest which was announced last month; thus far, no one has submitted anything.
I will post some of the stories you mentioned that haven't already been posted in this group between now and Halloween. The two Salem stories are posted here. See:
"September 19, 1692: Hard and Forceful Punishment at Salem": whatliesbeyond.boards.net/thread/2460/september-1692-forceful-punishment-salem
"Ghosts of the Salem Witch Trials": whatliesbeyond.boards.net/thread/2734/ghosts-salem-witch-trials

I second Kitty's suggestion.
I don't remember one about phantom fiddle music or a "Chair of Death."

I'd also like to see them re-posted. I copied and saved some of them, but not all, because I thought that I could always go back to the group and find them. Big mistake.

Thanks for re-posting "Spectral Violinists." Two that I'd really like to see posted again are the one about the ghosts of Flagler College and the Red Lady of Pratt Hall. Do you think that you could re-post them before Halloween? Thanks.

I'd like to read those stories again, too. I wish now that I'd saved them, but I didn't.
