Thirty-one Percent of Brits Have Seen or Felt a Ghosts
Are you sitting comfortably? According to a new poll, 31 percent of Brits think they’ve seen, or felt, a ghost. In fact, more than two-thirds of us believe we’ve experienced the supernatural. Researchers at VoucherCodesPro polled 2,952 British adults aged 18-65 to see whether we believe in the paranormal. And it sounds like a resounding yes. People were first asked if they believed in the supernatural and 82 percent said they did. And 68 percent of respondents went on to say they had experienced the supernatural for themselves
• 56% say they’ve received a sign a deceased loved one is present.
• 31% say they’ve “felt” the presence of a ghost.
• 16% have “felt” a deceased loved one protecting the.
• 8% have contacted spirits through Ouija boards, tarot cards, etc.
• 6% have had a near-death experience in which they saw a ghost.
According to VoucherCodes, it is surprising how many people claim to have seen ghosts or believe in the paranormal, but easy to understand why. With the growing use of the internet, it is easy to share ghostly experiences with other paranormal fans and these stories fuel our interest in the unknown. “There are also a large amount of television shows and films dedicated to paranormal, so it has become a part of people’s everyday life,” a spokesperson said.
