Has anyone else noticed that with groups like this that right after Halloween, there's hardly any activity?

This is my only forum type group now. It's always busy on Facebook, but that doesn't count. I do remember though in the Yahoo groups that it did go quiet after Halloween.

One of the reasons our groups are less active after Halloween is because there aren't that many weird news items the first week or two of November.

For people in groups like this, Halloween is the high point of the year and once it's over, they're sort of deflated. Cheer up, Sam, we're due for another Jack-the-Ripper installment on the 9th.

You're right, Steve, some of us prepare for the entire month of October for Halloween, and once it's come and gone, the excitement is over.

Seems a lot of people travel too, with Thanksgiving and Christmas, etc., so they're probably not online as often/busy with holiday meal preparation, shopping, etc.
