Im not sure if he has any relationship with Johnny. My feelings would be he may have seen something and was threatened by Jimmy. Because of his mental illness, maybe Jimmy felt he wasn't a threat and that no one would take him seriously. I also speculate the girls may have pulled over on the side of the road because they may have been pulled over by a police officer, could be why the window was cracked too. Maybe he speculated they had been drinking and had them get out of the car?
Just weeks before, I was going to a shooting range with a friend. This friend met Jimmy behind the building of the (what is now Grocery Outlet). Jimmy was in his police car and gave this friend a gun that he mentioned was his personal weapon and asked for this friend to not tell or show this weapon to anyone else. After the weapon was returned, he grabbed a cloth and started cleaning the fingerprints off.
Regardless, he tried to lure me (a minor) onto a boat, acquired my cell phone number from Verizon using his police badge and even schemed up a way to get me to lie to my parents so that no one would know where I was at. Pretty shady for an officer of the law. This all happened just 3 weeks before the murders. Right after the murders, Jimmy disappeared. He was no longer working for the police force for a while. I don't know where he went but for a supervisor to just disappear strikes me odd. He came back years later and was working on the force again. When he seen me, it was like he seen a ghost. I could see a supervisor destroying evidence on purpose.I wonder if he was one of the men that had their DNA tested.
