'High Priest' Accuses Arkansas town of banning pagan templeBEEBE, Ark. – The high priest of an Arkansas temple said that the city of Beebe ordered him to close after finding out that his religion was pagan, not Christian.
High Priest Bertram Dahl told KARK that Beebe Mayor Mike Robertson had initially supported his plans to open a Seekers temple and spiritual good shop in the garage behind his home.
“When they knew we were going to open a church, it wasn’t an issue,” he explained. “We explained to [the mayor] the house had a building that we could open the church in, and he had no problem.”
But Dahl said that the city’s attitude changed after learning that members of the temple were pagan.
“We were basically given a cease and desist you know – shut down. We hadn’t even unpacked. We aren’t even open – how are we getting this,” Dahl asked.
Although he had not even applied for permits yet, Mayor Robertson let it be known that he thought no conditional or special use permits should be given to Dahl. That same day, the city’s code officer sent a letter ordering Dahl to cease and desist.
City Attorney Barrett Rogers insisted to KARK that Dahl could not be allowed to open the temple because his residential property was not “zoned commercial, which is what’s required for a place of worship or a retail business.”
Dahl, however, pointed out that properties that were zoned R-2 were allowed to have places of worship and private non-profits, according to the city’s code. He said he had asked the mayor’s office for permit applications, even though he was told it would never be approved.
“I haven’t seen any of that [permit application] paperwork. My understanding is he has not asked to be given the paperwork,” Rogers said. “Had he asked for the paperwork it would have been provided.”
When KARK asked Mayor Robertson about the paperwork, he said that “there was no permit he could apply for.” Robertson declined to be interviewed on camera.
Dahl also appealed to his alderman for assistance, but the alderman told KARK that Dahl’s “God isn’t my God.”
The station noted that other homes in the neighborhood were operating businesses at home. Source: UPI and The Raw Story, June 18, 2014.

This Bert Dahl A-hole is a first class loser. When I used to be a member of some Yahell groups, Dahl was in some of them and he got kicked out of every one of them for personal attacks, name-calling, vulgar language and sending abusive emails to other members. He was such a POS that Yahell actually suspended his account because there were so many complaints about him. The mayor and others in this town need to investigate this creep's background because I seem to remember that he was into devil worship and other weird stuff. One thing that I remember is that he had some loser girlfriend and the two of them were advertising for another woman so that they could have threesomes, which would go over like a lead balloon in a small town in Arkansas.

Attacking people online and sending abusive emails are minor compared to some of the other things this jerk has done. He's scamming the Veterans Administration by claiming he's disabled, even though he bragged online about mowing pastures and trekking through virgin wilderness which only he and a few others have ever penetrated. He also advertised online for a bi-female to live with him and his bi-girlfriend and said they were into bondage, etc. If he's able to mow pastures, trek through the wilderness and engage in threesomes and bondage, he certainly isn't disabled!
He also bragged about how he fools Veterans Administration doctors into prescribing any drug he wants by telling them about his communications with "demons." I copied and saved some of his posts to send to the VA and following is one of them:
I will say this of "Demons". What I see and speak to have been called "Demons" by my father and the church. I have been prayed for, condemnd and medicated in an attempt by others to rid my life of them. I have chosen to stop letting people "help" me with this "problem" and am much happyer. Because of the way I speak of them, some people think I don't know a "Demon" from an "Angel". Try telling this to a court or a doctor and they are happy to blame the Army and give me as many meds as I want. They have never called themselves any such names, and the subject seems rather not important when I am with them.
If indeed demons they are, they are very beautiful, soft spoken, and many times very helpful in my life. They give as well as take information, and look as "real" as any person I have ever met. The much smaller messangers they send look like commen mountain folk, and stand about eight to ten inches high.
As for calling them, I would say they call me as much as I call them.
Now, he's pretending to be a "pagan priest" and trying to scam the people in this town into allowing him to open a "temple."

I remember that crazy dipshit from the group called MysticInvestigations, or something like that. He was crazy as a freaking bedbug and he argued about EVERYTHING!

I seem to remember him too. I remember someone who caused a lot of problems and sent nasty emails to anyone that stood up to him. I didn't really like that group, so I wasn't a member for very long.

I was one of those on the receiving end of Bert Dahl's abusive emails. I asked him repeatedly to stop emailing me, but because he lives off the government and has nothing to do but sit in front of his computer and harass people, he continued. Finally, I, along with several others, reported him to Yahoo and his account was suspended. During this time period, I did some checking and found the following advertisement in which he and his girlfriend were seeking a third "partner."
We are a Pagan couple 23 bi female and 40 straight male. We like light bondage but are not into pain. The vamp look is fun for us, and not a way of life. We are not into the blood. We are looking for a bi female to be our live-in girlfriend.
We are still hanging out in AR. Tracy has taken a job here, and are still not sure if we are going to brave the cold of Montana. We are even looking at other states again. Seems some of my family want me to be closer.
Speaking of family, I have seen my sister and her kids after four years. They are still corrupted by my father, but it was nice to see them. My sister hugged me and cried so I know she missed me....maybe that will be enough. The kids are growing so much. I'm sure my father put a stop to any more visits as I have not heard from them sence he would have heard about it.
I continue teaching Tracy, and any others who choose to learn, the way of Pagans.
We are still searching for our girlfriend. We have had a few maybes, but nothing solid.
Who would want this lowlife scam artist teaching people "the way of Pagans" or anything else? It's people like Dahl who give alternative religions/beliefs a bad name.

Has anyone else noticed that the words "Bert Dahl" sound like the noise a person makes when they regurgitate?

I used to know a woman from Arkansas who knew this freak personally and what she said about him was so unbelievable that I thought that she was just making it up until all this happened. He actually went in that church across the street from where he lives and went up to the front and yelled and screamed like a mad man. He also called and left a threatening message on the minister's answering machine. He was arrested and has to go to court. He belongs in the loony bin.
